Simple Steps To A Healthier Living Environment:
1) What is CHI energy?
Chi is the life-giving energy that is around us and
that flows through, in and around everything in the
natural world, including our own bodies.
One must not loose sight of the fundamental principles of
Feng Shui: energy, balance and harmony. The essence is
about creating and stimulating beneficial energy
(or Chi) patterns and fixing bad ones.
By having good energy patterns within the home and working
environments and our bodies, the result is a feeling of
well-being, vitality and the ability to handle the demands
and tasks of daily life.
2) How Healthy is the Chi energy in your home and
working environment?
There is no such thing as a "perfect Feng Shui"
house or working environment. But by being conscious
of our surrounding this will help to improve the
positive energies flow. Remember that "common sense"
and "intuition" play a big part in Feng Shui.
Sometimes we intuitively implement certain principles
without realising. As an example, look at
McDonald’s restaurant. Their entrances
are wide and easily accessible. Another example
is grand hotels or buildings. Most of them have
entrances that are spacious, bright and clutter free.
This type of arrangement makes us feel welcomed.
Quick pointers for good Chi in the home;
- Front door of the house should be inviting and
not cluttered. Can guests find the entrance to
your house/office easily or is it blocked by junk
and over grown trees?
- Good lighting inside and outside
- Good ventilation without draughts and strong breezes
- Life energy in plants and pets. It's always good to have
healthy plants growing. If your garden or plants are
dying do something about it!!
- Pleasant sounds such as moving water and music
These simple pointers provide a basic map towards
creating a harmonious living environment whereby
positive Chi energy can circulate.
We wish you much good Chi! |
